Gunite Corporation, manufacturer of brake drums, hub/drum assemblies, disc wheel hubs, disc brake rotors and slack adjusters, is accepting applications for Quality Manager.

Quality Manager

This position is located in Rockford, Illinois and is accountable for managing and coordinating all aspects of the Quality Management System (QMS) for the Rockford facility and ensuring that it is in compliance with customer and Accuride standards and expectations. Candidates must have: a related Quality or Engineering undergraduate degree; minimum of five years supervisory experience or relevant experience in a manufacturing environment; ASQ CQE preferred - demonstrated and comprehensive knowledge of quality systems, tools and procedures (TS 16949/ISO-9000); preferred ASQ CSSBB – demonstrated knowledge of core lean manufacturing methodologies and implementation; able to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing; demonstrated use of analytical tools and techniques; able to teach others; proficient with PC applications, preferably Microsoft.
