We are currently seeking a high energy, hands-on professional with proven experience in a global manufacturing environment. This position conducts & coordinates supplier quality activities; supplier audits/improvements, quality planning, product validation, 1st article inspection, coordination of external & internal product testing, corrective actions, vendor qualification, & inspection criteria. Must have working knowledge of product qualification testing, inspection tools and equipment, and supplier quality activities. Incumbent will perform identification, root cause analysis, corrective and preventative action on purchased parts.
Experience, Education, Training required for this position
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering
- Minimum 3 yrs experience in a manufacturing/quality engineering.
- Excellent verbal & written (technical level) communication skills and stong computer skills in Access, Word, Excel, required.
- Must be able to work hands-on in a system and process oriented environment.
- Solid understanding of Supply Chain principles/processes
- CQE or CQA certification desirable.
